With only two more episodes left in the third season of ABC's sci-fi TV series "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.", the guessing game about the survival of the agents has become more intense.

And if the latest episode is any indication, one has to accept that Mack is in danger. The speculations had begun after last week's episode, which had Daisy experiencing a grim vision of the outer space with a floating cross necklace and death of a team member. At that time, everyone placed their bet on Yo-Yo (Natalie Cordova-Buckley) as she was the one who wore the cross necklace.

She had also been called into action by Coulson (Clark Gregg) after letting her rest in a secure spot for the last few weeks as Hive was on an Inhuman hunt. She was tasked with the Daisy recovery mission, which exposed her to a life threatening operation.

Her guest star status made her all the more suitable as the victim as no one could ever think that the show would sacrifice a prominent character but it might. At least, this is what the writers want us to believe.

If you remember, Yo-Yo and Mack shared a close moment after Daisy safely returned to the headquarters, free from Hive's parasitic spell. That was exactly when she unwittingly dragged Mack into the danger zone. After the sweet moment was passé and she had to leave, the Secret Warrior gave him a parting gift. And it was her ominous cross necklace.

This has led to strong theories that Mack might be dead in the finale and therefore, fans are worried. However, according to reports, there are still chances that he would survive and someone else would bite the dust. One more episode and the two-hour-long finale leave ample scope for twists and turns. But looks like the writers wanted to build excitement and thus, resorted to the ploy.

As for Daisy, it is good news that she has come back. The gamble with Lash paid off. We just hope the agents destroy Hive's evil plan without any casualty.
