With the Season 6 finale of "The Walking Dead" not revealing the identity of Negan's victim (presumed to be Daryl) and leaving us on tenterhooks, Melissa McBride aka Carol has made some interesting revelations in an interview recently.

Melissa has suggested in her interview that Daryl Dixon still has some considerable time on the show.

The actress, who has been on the show right from the first season, has indicated that the expert tracker is not going anytime soon. Though she did not say anything categorically, her remarks suggest so. In the interview, she also revealed some very important details about her character's chemistry with Daryl.

According to reports, her statement seems to belie the rumors that suggest Daryl's death. Stories regarding Norman Reedus' (who plays Daryl) exit have been floating around for a while and many say that he is leaving the show to give time to other projects. He has a busy shooting schedule ahead with a motorcycle-based reality show, produced by AMC itself and some other movies in the pipeline. It is being said that he wants to encash his current popularity to bag more movies.

As for the theories about Carol and Daryl's relationship, Melissa did not speak out openly about a future romantic bond, but her comments hint at some strong chemistry as both will be sharing substantial screen space together. She said that it would be interesting to see their bonding as they deal with perilous situations.

Melissa also refuted rumors about her souring relationship with Norman which had surfaced earlier this month. Interestingly, their alleged face-off was also cited to be the reason behind Norman leaving the show.

It is worth mentioning here that Norman Reedus has also said that he would be returning to the show for the seventh season but nothing can be said with surety. He might be there for the first episode or a few episodes, which are definitely part of the seventh season.
