Harry Potter's prequel is based on the prohibition era of America and the events happening in wizard community of New York. Here are some things assembled from the trailer.

Newt Scamander, played by Eddie Redmayne, is expelled from the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and is now headed to America. However, it is not known what caused Newt to be ousted from the academy.

Voice over by Percival Graves, played by Colin Farrell, also shows that a teacher vehemently opposed Newt's expulsion and made a case for him to stay at Hogwarts. The teacher was obviously none other than Albus Dumbledore. Rowling on Monday explained on Twitter the connection between the two characters and said, "Albus Dumbledore is fond of Newt Scamander for the same reasons that I am fond of Newt Scamander."

As Newt is all set to enter America, he overturns a "Muggle Worthy" switch on his suitcase while being checked at the customs so that he can make the contents appear like everyday items to the officials.

From the looks of it, it seems that this particular movie is going to get political as some of the trailer scenes happen in Magical Congress of the United States of America, aka MACUSA which is an American counterpart of Minitry of Magic. One can also see a huge portrait of Seraphina Picquery keeping an eye out on the mail hall.

Nifflers, introduced in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by Hagrid, will be reintroduced in this one. These small long-snouted creatures are particularly attracted to shiny objects that makes them crucial for treasure hunting.
