UFC Zagreb had an eventful night on Sunday, especially for Junior Dos Santos. That night Dos Santos plummeted Ben Rothwell redeeming his previous lost and now even considering a spot for the heavyweight champion.

Junior had a let down when he lost a match after moving his training camp to the U.S. Yet, he made a surprising turn during Sunday evening's in Zagreb, Croatia. The boxer beat Rothwell and won all five rounds on all three scorecards.

Especially because there isn't a No.2 contender yet in heavyweight divisions, many want to know Dos Santo's thoughts about possibly being the person to fill the spot.

MMAJunkie asked that if he would be prepared to enter the fight if next month's title headliner between Fabricio Werdum and Stipe Miocic were to have an injury.

Do Santos laughed and responded, "Yeah, you never know, you know?"

He continued, "Normally, after a fight, I take 10 or 15 days to rest, and then I get back to my training. So maybe. You never know. But it's going to be a great fight there in Brazil."

Meanwhile with another interview with FoxSports, last night's champ was asked about the possibility of a UFC championship fight and responded saying, "I don't really care."

Dos Santos wants to focus what's in front of him rather than "plotting a course," the news site reports.

"I don't care about that now," he said. "I just want to fight. I was thinking about that too much earlier in the day, but now, I just want to fight. I know it's going to happen at some point. Whatever the UFC wants to do, or any opponent they want to give me, I'll be ready for that."

When asked about the fight between Werdum and Miocic, he said, "I think it's going to be a good fight. But I see a little bit of an advantage for Miocic, because Werdum doesn't take anybody down. He just submits people when people take him down. And talking about their standup skills, Miocic is better. But a fight's a fight. You never know."
