As Season 22 of the dance reality show "Dancing with the Stars" moves ahead, it is becoming increasingly clear as to who will stay and who will be shown the door.

In the previous episodes, the audience saw the ouster of Mischa Barton and Geraldo Rivera and now it leaves us with the real contest as the two were weak performers. The remaining contestants are worth watching with Nyle Dimarco a hot favorite because he also bagged the first 9 of the season. He has defied all odds and shown great performance, matching his partner like a pro.

Wanya Morris and Paige VanZant are other two strong contenders with the former being earnest throughout the season. If he works hard, he might become the winner as well. VanZant, being a trained dancer, has a lot going in her favor and with her last performance, she has proved that she can also be graceful. Jodie, with her winning attitude and talent is also someone to watch out for.

Ginger Zee, Marla Maples and Kim Fields are the ones who have the ability to spring surprises and they have shown a good deal of promise with the duo improving a lot. Ginger had a remarkably strong debut. However, they pale in comparison to Marla who is a delight to watch and always manages to win our hearts with her infectious energy and charms, despite being over fifty.

As for the rest, which includes the three footballers namely Doug Flutie, Antonio Brown and Von Miller, they seem to be moving towards the bottom list. Of course, surprises may come, but they seem unlikely given their trajectory till now.

Von has been particularly disappointing with those jerky movements. And guess what, he is an athlete. Doug has been smart and managed to score well through his partner's strategic dance movements that made him a prop but tough luck for Antonio. The guy just does not have the charisma and charm to engage attention.
