England enters Semi-final of World T20: Pakistan suffers huge loss against England.

England is all set to face Australia in the ICC world T20 Semi-Finals on Wednesday after registering a comfortable win against Pakistan. England women's have been unbeaten in all the four league matches and continued their unbeaten march, they also look confident against the Australian squad whom they will be facing in the 1st Semi-Final knockout match here in Delhi on Wednesday.

English openers Edwards and Tammy Beaumont started their innings with a blaze when they were surging ahead with a competitive run rate of 9.60 per over. They had reached an impressive start of 48 runs in just five overs. Third over of the innings steered the English rate, when four boundaries came from left-arm spinner Anam Amin's over. Later after the match Pakistani captain Sana Mir confessed that their bowling in the Power Play was not up to the mark. However it was Charlotte Edwards performance that stole the entire show, her unbeaten 77 runs off 61 balls which included whooping ten boundaries helped England reach a score of 148 runs for the loss of five wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Nina Dar's three for 21 was not enough for the Pakistani squad to restrict English batting line up.

Pakistan on the other hand saw a disastrous innings right from the beginning. They were never close in making any kind of winning efforts. The huge blow to the Pakistani's came when Sidra Ameen's fell for a duck. She was dismissed by seamer Katherine Brunt, when she was caught at the deep mid-wicket. She had staggering figures of 99 runs gathered from the previous three matches of the tournament. After her dismissal Pakistan's innings was folded for a mere 80 runs in 17.5 overs, among which 10 runs were given as extras by the English bowling side. Georgia Elwiss and Anya Shrubsole took two wickets each and the final blow was delivered by Laura Marsh when she took three wickets by conceding just 12 runs from her overs. Finally Pakistani womens were sent packing to home as they lost the match by 68 runs here at Chepauk.
