The wait for Apple iPhone 6S could end precisely on September 18, new reports claims.

According to Forbes, Apple would put up the new iPhone on sale in Germany and Japan on September 18. Launches in Germany, Japan and UK are usually held with US launch. A Vodafone internal memo mentioned in the report also speaks of a September 18 launch in the UK. In all likelihood, the phone would go on sale September 18 in the US.

9to5Mac reports that Best Buy will start selling AppleCare protection plans for Macs and iPhones just ahead of iPhone 6S launch, on September 14. Users can avail services that Apple provides in addition to those Best Buy offers. The report also claims a September 9 debut for the iPhone 6S and its larger cousin iPhone 6S Plus.

Numerous reports have emerged in the recent past claiming that Apple has been testing its new iPhones. Data analysts reported seeing the phones in the data logs even as leaked images are doing the rounds. However the rumor of Apple launching an iPhone 6c by repackaging the hugely popular iPhone 6 to establish the new iPhone 6S as flagship device, remains unconfirmed.

Beside eager fans waiting for the new iPhone's launch, investors and market watchers are also waiting in anticipation. Those skeptical of the new iPhone's prowess apprehend that the new phone may not outdo its predecessor in sales and boosting Apple's stock.
