Since Donald Trump was dismissed from NBC's Celebrity Apprentice due to his scandalous remarks regarding Mexican immigrants during his political campaign for president, it has been a mystery to the fans of the show who will be replacing Trump. Now, it seems that the suspense is over!

Radaronline reported that the show's executives set their eyes on Amal Clooney as their favorite to replace Donald Trump. During the announcement of his presidential candidacy, Trump made extremely offensive statements, calling Mexican immigrants "rapists and murderers," which got him fired from the show.

Amal Clooney, who is a human rights lawyer, was a well-known professional in her field but she was far from being an international celebrity. After her marriage with actor George Clooney, she started attracting the public's attention and adoration. It looks like the public embraces her heroic professional work and also appreciates her elegant fashion style.

A television executive said: "Basically we want Amal, although there are a couple of other prominent women in contention. As well as the cachet of being married to George, she is also a highly respected figure in her field. And, since she rarely says anything in public, there is still something of an air of mystery to her...We think she could be a perfect fit, if her schedule can be made to dovetail with shooting requirements,"  reported Radaronline. Amal is currently working as a visiting professor at Columbia Law School, which requires her to be in New York City, where The Celebrity Apprentice is filmed.

In addition to the convenience aspect, sources close to Mrs Clooney said that she likes the idea of filming in the Big Apple and her family and also her husband are supporting it, Radaronline reported.
