Miranda Lambert hinted that the divorce with ex-husband Blake Shelton has been hard on her while in a recent performance at the 3rd And Lindsley Bar And Grill in Nashville on Tuesday, Gossip Cop reported.

"Well, I've been living off of caffeine and sad songs lately," she said while grabbing a mug behind her.

"So we're gonna drink some caffeine and sing sad songs," she added before singing her 2011 single "Dear Diamond."

"You cost more than he wanted to lose / And with this ring I said I do / I promised I'd never do what I've done / I've lied to someone," goes the lyrics of the song.

A source from the news outlet also said that the 31-year old singer sang along with Jessi Alexander when she sang two of Shelton's songs. She also give a special request to RaeLynn to include some sentimental piece, "Love Triangle," a song said to be about going through a divorce

Lambert also performed side by side with Clare Dunn, Courtney Cole and Natalie Hemby in the show.

According to US Magazine, the Kerosene singer finds solace in the company of fellow musicians on stage in the trying time of her divorce with Blake.

"It's been a long time since I've played like this, but I get to be up here with some of my best pals I write with all the time. Actually, in the last two weeks, I've written with everybody up here," she once told the audience.

The news source also speculated that her next album after Platinum, released in June 2014, would be songs about her divorce.

It was on July 20 that Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert officially announced their divorce, IB Times remembered.

The couple has also finalized the proceedings particularly in dividing their assets because of a prenuptial agreement that they have previously signed.
