[New Launch] Volvo Unveils Two New Twin-Engine SUVs

Volvo has announced two new versions of 2016 XC90 SUVs, in an attempt to revamp the existing 2002 XC90 SUV which was a bestseller. The Swedish manufacturer reportedly has invested about $11 billion to re-model the cars and release new car models.

Volvo XC90 is one of the best luxury cars that also sports a unique design. The model os available in three version and more improvements and developments have been promised by the company in the future.

According to reports, the 2002 XC90 models has been sold a million units in Europe. The new model, 2016 XC90 will be manufactured in Sweden, featuring a 'North American Style.'

The two new versions, called XC90 T6 and XC90 T 8, are twin-engine SUV and will be available in the USA. Diesel version of the same will be released in Europe. The luxury car is known as the world's first plug-in hybrid.

Among other upgrades include a two-liter 4 cylinder, and the engine with fitted with a super-charger and turbo-charger.

"The XC90 is a prime example of successfully letting brand identity and cultural heritage give your car some personality, not to mention a promising indicator of what we can expect from Volvo's rapid line-up revamp over the next four years," noted SlashGear in the review of the vehicle.

The price of the SUV starts from $48,900.
