The wireless operators in the country are eager to use the Christmas season to increase their footprints and revenue. It is started with Verizon coming with its free phone offer that includes iPhone 7, Google Pixel Phone, Galaxy S7 or LG V20. Similarly, AT&T has come up with an offer that gives a free phone if the buyer chooses one of its premium phones.

The Verizon offer is for the third time being introduced in the market considering the hype expected during the holiday season. The premium phones from all the major manufacturers including iPhone 7 Plus will be available for a billing cycle period of 24 months, where the user would be additionally charged $10 per month in the bill. But, this no-down payment offer is only available for qualified customers and it is made available only for a limited period.

The new offer by Verizon is planned to retain the existing customers to its camp. It was reported that the firm could not make any major increase in the customer base in the already stagnated U.S. cellular market. With the daring attempt, the firm can ensure that the users would continue with its network for another two years and it can additionally encourage other customers to its platform.

AT&T has come up with a different offer and it asks customers to buy any of the premium phones from the list and they can get another phone absolutely free. For new customers, AT&T offers a credit of up to $650 for switching, selling the current phone and getting a new phone from AT&T. It additionally offers unlimited data for new DIRECTV subscribers up to 4 smartphones for just $180 a month.

Similar to the lines of AT&T and Verizon, other carriers are also expected to come with exciting offers. In the recent years, it has been found that during the Christmas season many people buy any premium smartphones of that year and try to change the carrier according to the offers provided. So, carriers lose a number of customers to others and now each of them is found to focusing on both retaining and acquiring.

So, regardless if you're among these people or not, it's safe to say that you really need to choose your plan carefully. Check out the AT&T phone plans review to be learn more about what AT&T has to offer.
