Who knew that Harry Styles is a member of the grammar police?

Styles from One Direction took a mini break from performing in Philadelphia, PA in the United States in order to correct a sign that one of his fans had made. During the concert, the 21-year-old singer motioned a fan to give him her sign, which read, "Hi Harry. Your so nice."

Styles then took out a pen and added an apostrophe and an "e" so that the sign read - with correct grammar - "Hi, Harry. You're so nice."

Shortly after the concert, the fan, Taelor Ford, tweeted her thanks to the singer. Her tweet read, "Thank you for signing my poster and correcting my grammar!!"

The young fan later spoke with BBC Newsbeat about the incident, stating that she was not embarrassed at all.

"He asked for a pen and for security to bring the sign to him. He fixed the spelling, he changed the 'your' to 'you're' and then he signed it, 'thank you, love Harry,' the 16-year-old said. "I actually wasn't embarrassed at all, I was kind of happy that I misspelled it. I'm not really good at English at all. But I'm just so happy one of them noticed the sign," she said.

Ford added that the poster is now hanging on her bedroom wall.

Aside from correcting grammar, Styles was reportedly hit in the head by a can. It is unclear who threw it. When he tweeted out his thanks to the crowd in Philly, he made no mention of the incident.

Styles' mom, however, was not too pleased with incident. She had tweeted, "No harm done ... This time ... Unless you're on a sports field is it acceptable to throw things at people?! I think not."

One Direction will be taking a break sometime next year.
