If rumors are to be believed, Apple has scheduled a MacBook Air update for February 24th. The update will be minor and it won't be the radically new 12-inch MacBook Air with Retina display that was reported earlier.

According to Apple news website letemsvetemapplem.eu, the update happening on February 24th, will likely focus on processor, storage, and RAM improvements. Also there's no media event planned for the update of MacBook Air.

"According to our information from the Czech APR, the company will update its Apple MacBooks of 24. 2. 2015, which is on Tuesday. To update the product line of MacBooks should be quiet way, without any keynote that changes will only offer existing computers on society. News should lead to new processors that Intel introduced at the beginning of this year," wrote letemsvetemapplem.eu.

Reportedly, the update for MacBook Air could include new chips such as Core i7-5650U or Core i5-5250U, Core i5 1.8 GHz or a Core i7.

The report underscores that only MacBook Air will be refreshed and MacBook Pro will have to wait as the processors won't be available until the end of this quarter.
