'Overwatch' Chinese New Year Event Updates; Event Skins, New Game Mode, Capture The Flag

"Overwatch" fans have a lot of reason to celebrate the coming Chinese New Year as an event is about to be released for Xbox One, PC and PS4. The "Overwatch" Year of the Rooster update will go live by January 24, a few days before the official Chinese New Year on January 28, 2017.

Blizzard has not indicated what time the event will start but if past events are any indication, fans in UK are likely to experience it sometime 7pm. Chances are, there will be a limited time mode, skins, a new map and if a leaked video is to be believed, there will also be a Capture the Flag mode.

A leaked video has shown Symmetra in a red and gold dress, colors are expected when ringing in the Chinese New Year. Winston and Zenyatta, Reinhardt and Roadhog have their own new look as well. Based on the trailer, Tracer seems to be standing guard over a flag. All of their skins seem to be referring to the Chinese mythology Journey to the West.
