“PlayStation VR” may have taken the longest time to join the Virtual Reality space. But surprisingly, it’s already dominating its counterparts Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.

According to Game Rant, “PlayStation VR” have dominated Oculus Rift and HTC Vive through its domain of virtual reality hardware. Despite being available for about a couple of months since its launch in October, which is said to be in the list of the youngest. The product has already become the VR headset with the biggest market share over other pieces of hardware. "PlayStation VR" is said to be one of the best inventions of the year. Sony’s current market share is estimated around 30 percent, followed by 11 percent for Oculus Rift and 6 percent for HTC Vive.

According to VG 24/7, Sony's “PlayStation VR” success has been attributed to its cheaper entry price for the headset, massive install base PS4 provides and meanwhile, cheaper options like Google Cardboard have much less of a share, at only 8 percent. A lot of Fans have lauded “PlayStation VR”, saying that it's the only entry for the home console market. The headset is only sold at $399 and the deluxe with a camera and two move controllers at $499. It also comes with “PlayStation VR” Demo Disc.

WGRZ reports that about 80% reviews about said that “PlayStation VR” really got gorgeous and interesting features. The setup process seems trickier due to lots of cables. The whole process takes about 30 minutes. But, once plugged in, everything works perfect. Sony has launched a new PlayStation Camera, the new camera comes with its own stand, which can be raised and the lenses tilted upwards or downwards to accommodate your setup.

However, Sony’s “PlayStation VR” display seems to be the lowest in quality. PSVR uses a single 1080p, 5.7-inch OLED screen, while Oculus and Vive deliver a 2,160 x 1,200 resolution to each eye unless you had the spec sheet in front of you or all the VR headsets side by side. But fans believe they are working harder to make it better.
