Jill And Derrick Cancel Missionary Work For 'Counting On'

There are reports claiming that Jill and Derrick step back from their missionary work for "Jill & Jessa: Counting On." However, there is no truth to these reports. In Jill and Derrick's family blog, they shared that they continue their mission in serving the Lord even if they are in their home country. Currently, they are taking Bible classes and are preparing for their return in Central America to continue their missionary works there.

However, in their post, it seems that the family has to work hard to earn money. Derrick said that he took a number of jobs to support his family. Meanwhile, Jill also made use of her midwifery skills to assist with a birth.

Jill and Derrick did not mention of filming "Counting On." It seemed that both are more enthusiastic and focus on their missionary works.
