Kpop News: NCT 127 Tops On Various Music Chart With "Fire Truck"

SM Entertainment's new debut group NCT 127, topped on different music charts both domestically and internationally.

Previously on July 11, the NCT 127 made their official debut with their mini album "NCT #127" and its title track "Fire Truck" which garnered love and support from fans. 

The album instantly topped the charts on Hanteo Chart, Synnara Record, and more, and then climbed to first place on weekly charts for the second week of July. 

 NCT 127's album also ranked number one on iTunes in six different countries. They are also first place on pop album charts in seven different countries, showing NCT 127's global popularity.

NCT 127 is a new NCT sub-unit that consists of seven members, including members of the other current NCT unit NCT U. The members are Haechan(Korea), Yuta(Japan), Taeyong (Korea), WinWin (China), Jaehyun(Korea), Mark(Canada), and Taeil (Korea). 

Meanwhile, NCT are named after the Hallyu localization project Neo Culture Technology, a term coined by S.M. founder Lee Soo-man to describe the group's concept of having an unlimited number of members divided into multiple sub-units based in various cities worldwide. 

Another unit group  is scheduled for Tokyo, with subsequent units expected to debut in Beijing and Shanghai.
