Guns N Roses Tour Concert: Band Plan To Set Out On N. American Tour

Guns N' Roses came out with a public announcement of their reunion at this month's Coachella music festival in Indio, Calif. On Friday, the group officially announced that they planned to set out on North American tour. 

The group planned for a long summer tour, to be called The Not in This Lifetime Tour, disclosed in a Facebook video Friday. It will be kicked off June 23 in Detroit, and will feature in 21 cities across North America through late August.

As the original band members Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan did not get together on stage since July 1993, the group needed a small, pre-warm up.  They thus started with a private show at L.A.'s exciting Troubadour club, where fans lined up for hours so that they could buy tickets.  Even though cameras were banned, some posted a few photographs of a reunion that had seemed to be amazing, with 20 years having passed after the band had dissolved.

The set list drew the crowds, with some cool numbers: Welcome to the Jungle, Sweet Child O'Mine, Mr. Brownstone, You Could Be Mine and Paradise City.

Chinese Democracy, the title track from a much-delayed sixth album that had the same name, managed to make the debut. The cover of Bob Dylan's Knocking On Heaven's Door also made the cut
