A purportedly leaked live images of Samsung's flagship Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge circulating in rumor land is creating quite a lot of storm among fans and tech observers alike.

According to a report by the International Business Times (picked up from Vietnamese site Review Dao), the new Galaxy 7 has a slightly curved back with a visible shimmery magnesium-made metal frame running through the corners of the sleek handset and a waterproofed exterior. As far as the internal specs go based on unconfirmed leaks and findings, Galaxy S7's processors will contain Snapdragon 820 and Exynos 8890 chipsets.

Another promising leaked Galaxy S7 feature is the purported faster-charging battery which makes charging jump from 0% to 80% in just 30 minutes. According to an unconfirmed leak by Russian tech blogger Eldar Murtazin as picked in a report by IT Pro, GS7's battery life could also extend up to two days.

The foregoing report seems to coincide other rumored leaks on extended battery life. In a report by The Verge, Samsung learned that shorter battery life was a major downside for its hyped Galaxy S6 and Note 5 models. Based on write-up picked up from 9to5Google, The Verge noted that the Galaxy S7 Edge will have a much larger battery (3,600mAh) than Samsung's previous Galaxy handsets. When it comes to screen size, S7 Edge will slightly bigger than the regular S7.

As the Mobile World Congress approaches, Samsung's new flagship models should be able to stand up to the astounding features that its other Android and iOS smartphone rivals have to offer.
