On Monday, hundreds of environmentalists gathered around in New York City and marched to the Financial District to protest the Wall Street and its relation to global climate change.
A day after the massive demonstrations with the participation of hundreds of thousands in more than 150 countries around the world, environmentalists in New York wanted to march to Wall Street. The event was called #FloodWallStreet , a clever reference to the catastrophic effects of the climate change.
Some protesters blocked the roads.
The police didn't allow the protesters on Wall Street, installing barricades.
When the protester rejected to be dispersed, the police used tear gas.
