Tesla To Release Software Update For Model S To End "Range Anxiety"

Tesla Motors Inc will release a software update to its Model S vehicle that will end drivers "range anxiety." Range anxiety is commonly referred to as the concern that auto batteries will run out of power and cannot be recharged quickly.
"Tesla press conf at 9am on Thurs. About to end range anxiety ... via OTA software update. Affects entire Model S fleet," Musk said in a tweet from his verified account.
Tesla's Model S has a range of as much as 270 miles (434 kilometers), according to the company's website.
