Cleveland Clinic recently revealed the reason behind the failure of what was supposedly the first uterus transplant in the US- an infection caused by the overgrowth of yeast normally found around the vaginal tract. Doctors are reviewing the case to ensure the prevention of similar cases from happening in the future.
