Samsung plans to launch more handsets running Tizen operating system, according to a new report by Reuters. Tizen OS has been developed by Samsung and runs on variety of devices including smartphones, tablets, in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) devices, smart TVs, PCs, smart cameras, wearable computing etc.
Samsung has launched its first Tizen operating system based smartphone in India. Tizen is Samsung's own operating system powering its smartwatches, TVs, appliances and now a phone.
Samsung has revealed plans to expand the presence of its home-grown Tizen OS by integrating the platform into Smart TVs sometime this year.
