As a response to the growing demand for restrictions against payday loans, Google has announced its ban on ads related to predatory lending practices. Other Silicon Valley titans like Facebook has already made a similar restriction on loans designed to push people deeper into the debt trap.
The government of Japan has promised billions of dollars of support for countries that are currently dealing with the threat posed by the Islamic State.
