Apple is holding an event March 9, according to NBC News. The invitation said simply "Spring forward." (Clocks spring forward one hour for daylight savings time the day before).

The event will be held at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San Francisco.

"On March 9, Apple is expected to delve deeper into the various features of the watch. The presentation aims to answer the defining purpose of the company's first all-new product since it introduced the iPad in 2010," WSJ noted.

Notably, the company previously said Apple Watch would launch sometime in April, therefore it might be that Apple releases the long rumored massive tablet iPad Pro or the revamped MacBook Air with retina display.
