Samsung Galaxy S6 will be launched on March 1 at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 in Barcelona.

This became apparent after invites were received bearing a curved silhouette with the caption 'What's Next', reports The ChristianPost, while speculating that the curve could be phone's design signature. It is speculated that the phone could have up to 128 GB storage and a quad HD screen, Android 5 and significant software improvements, besides an improved camera. However it may not have the waterproof features of its predecessors.

Other reports suggest that Galaxy S6 would be powered by a 64 bit processor, 3GB Ram and ship with wireless charging. One report from PCPRO which claims to have images of Samsung Galaxy S6 battery, suggests it may not be as big as expected.

The Galaxy S Edge is also expected to be launched at MWC.

Meanwhile, CNET reported Samsung's purchase of LoopPay to compete against Apple Pay.

"This acquisition accelerates our vision to drive and lead innovation in the world of mobile commerce. Our goal has always been to build the smartest, most secure, user-friendly mobile wallet experience, and we are delighted to welcome LoopPay to take us closer to this goal," said JK Shin, President and Head of IT and Mobile Division at Samsung Electronics, in a news release.

LoopPay is expected to feature on Galaxy S6 and other Samsung mobile launches.
