Customers of T-Mobile should feel privileged as they will be receiving the latest version of Android sooner than AT&T. According to reports, the carrier has begun rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for Samsung Galaxy S5.

T-Mobiles customers who were anticipating the Android 5.0 Lollipop update can finally rejoice. Customers reported awakening to sweet treat when they checked their device and the update of 1GB was awaiting for being pushed in to the phone.

T-Mobile users who have not gotten any Android 5.0 Lollipop updates should also receive it sooner, as the update takes time to propagate through devices. Anxious Samsung Galaxy S5 users can check for updates manually via settings.

Apart from T-Mobile, Verizon and Sprint have also released the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for Samsung Galaxy S5. The only carrier that is lagging behind is AT&T. We don't have a concrete date as when the carrier will start rolling the updates.

Usually, AT&T typically tends to lag behind when it comes to Android operating system updates. The carrier was the first to carry the Galaxy S5 but last to push out the Android KitKat 4.4.4 to its devices.
