Kevin Kimmel, while driving his truck, parked at a stop in New Kent County, Virginia. What he saw next amazed him. He did not anticipate it, but he saved a girl's life.

While sitting in his rig on January 6, he glimpsed a recreational vehicle, or RV, draw up with black drapes. He then saw a young girl looking out of the RV window, according to ijreview.com. She looked stricken.

"Saw what looked like a young girl looking out the window, the black drapes didn't make it look like a families' RV, you know," Kimmel told CBS affiliate WTVR.

Kimmel continued: "I saw a guy come up and knock on the door then go inside the Pilot-then quickly came back and knocked again, all of the sudden the thing was rocking and rolling."

An experienced trucker, Kimmel felt that the entire thing was shady. He decided to dial deputies immediately.

The police arrived at the scene, and found that there was a couple inside the RV which was forcing a 20-year-old girl into sex slavery. She looked distressingly malnourished and had been tortured by the RV inhabitants.

Horrifically, her feet had been punctured, while nails had been hammered into her. She had got severe burns when a hot key was pressed into her flesh in order to brand her.

Kimmel said: "I'm just happy I helped her." He is a father as well as grandfather. "I only learned the gruesome details through the news," Kimmel said.

He had got an Iowa couple arrested and charged with sex trafficking. Aldair Hodza, 36, and Laura Sorensen, 31, got taken by the police, who helped a malnourished 20-year-old, according to cbsnews.com.

"I only learned the gruesome details through the news," Kimmel told the station. "I'm just happy I helped her."

The alleged victim said she had been forced into prostitution during the trip from Iowa to Virginia.

As human trafficking is the fastest growing criminal industry in the world, it's important that everyone should be on the aler to report suspicious activities.
