Although Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon will be suspended from the NFL for an entire year, he won't be without employment.

The all-pro receiver will work at a car dealership in Ohio during the time he is away from football.

According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Gordon will be the goodwill ambassador for Sarchione Auto Group in Randolph, Ohio, volunteering at local food drives and helping with the Wounded Warrior Project which aids veterans. He will also work selling cars at the dealership, co-owner Jeff Sarchione told the Plain Dealer.

Gordon was suspended a full year earlier this summer following another marijuana-related violation of the NFL's substance abuse policy. The 23-year old has had previous issues with the drug at Baylor University and, according to CBS Sports, was suspended two games in 2013 for violating the policy due to marijuana use.

Following the suspension, there was speculation Gordon could try to play in the Canadian Football League. However, due to contractual obligations with the Browns he is prohibited from playing in league. Also, the CFL has strict policies which prevent players from other leagues to join their league if that player is undergoing a suspension.

Although Gordon's new job is not football-related, Sarchoine feels the job can only help Gordon.

"Obviously Josh's priorities are to the Cleveland Browns and to the NFL, but he's not going to play football for his whole life,'' Sarchione told the Plain Dealer. "This can help him grow in something after football. He can learn our family business, and we're expanding and this is the next step.''

The Browns will surely miss Gordon this season. The Baylor-product led the league in receiving yards (1646) in 2013 despite working with three different starting quarterbacks.

The Browns play their first game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
