Image-sharing service Imgur has killed its Pro subscription, allowing all users to store an unlimited number of images. Apart from unlimited upload, users will also get community features like commenting, voting, and sharing; access to a wide variety of analytics tools.

Earlier the Imgur charged $23 per year (or $2.95 a month) for these features.

"On Imgur's first birthday, we announced Imgur Pro, a paid account that gave users the ability to support their favorite image sharer while getting some cool extra features in return. Today, we celebrate Imgur's sixth year, and we've decided that you're the one who deserves a gift. We're phasing out Pro subscriptions...and making the Pro features completely free for every Imgur user!" Imgur announced on its blog.

However, everything free comes with a catch and in this case, ads are the catch. Earlier users of Imgur Pro used to have ad free experience, however now there's no way to pay to get ads to go away.

Pro Subscribers will be refunded their money if they signed up within the past month.
