Bruce Jenner was involved in a horrific four-car pileup that left one person dead and five more injured on Saturday, according to TMZ.com.

The deadly wreck occurred on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu at 12:12 p.m., according to a statement released by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said in a statement.

One of the drivers involved in the wreck was killed at the scene, on Pacific Coast Highway near Corral Canyon Road, the news release stated.

It was unclear whether Jenner, 65, was injured in the crash, but pictures posted by TMZ showed Jenner standing by a damaged car talking with a firefighter.

According to TMZ, eyewitnesses say Bruce rear ended the white car and that car went into oncoming traffic and was struck by the Hummer. The woman driving the white car died. TMZ posted paparazzi photos of the accident at what it said was the moment of impact.

According to The Los Angeles Times, law enforcement sources said paparazzi were on-scene, but it was unclear as to whether they played a part in the accident.

Photos captured the actual moment of impact when Jenner's black SUV slammed into the rear of the stopped Lexus. Jenner slammed on the brakes, leaving skidmarks in his wake, said Sgt. Philip Brooks of the sheriff's department.
