iPad Mini 4 Release Date and Rumors: Revamped Version With Processor Upgrade to Be Out by July

After the original iPad Mini was released, not everything was well received among users, i.e, non-retina display, less powerful CPU etc. However, in the second version iPad Mini got 64-bit CPU and a retina display.

iPad Mini 3 was being anticipated to get a complete overhaul which, it didn't. Now the attention is focused on the iPad Mini 4. Rumors have started floating around it and here are some of the latest:

iPad Mini 4 Release Date

All of the three iPad Minis were released in late October or early November so, the iPad Mini 4 will also probably be launched during the same time. However, according to PC advisor the iPad Mini may be launched alongside heavily rumoured iPad Pro (or iPad Plus) sometime around June or July.

iPad Mini 4 Price

Predicting the price of iPad Mini 4 isn't harder and Apple might stick with the $399 base price for Wi-Fi versions and $529 for Wi-Fi + Cellular version.

iPad Mini 4 Specifications And Features

In terms of specifications of iPad Mini 4, not much is known. According to PC Advisor, it will be slimmed down, just like the iPad Air 2, using a laminated screen. iPad Mini should also get the anti-reflective coating.

iPad Mini 4 will also get processor upgrade, more likely A8X used in the iPad Air 2, coupled with 2GB of RAM.
