Xiaomi witnessed yet another flash sale on Tuesday for its newly launched Redmi 1S budget smartphone in India.

Indian consumers have kept Xiaomi running on its toes with extra-ordinary demand for its smartly-priced smartphones. China's leading smartphone company is finding it hard to keep up with the over-growing demand for its handsets in India, which has resulted in consecutive flash sales. The company's success did not stop at its high-end Mi 3 smartphone in India, as it managed to empty the 40,000 unit stock of Redmi 1S in just 4.2 seconds via country's renowned online retailer, Flipkart.

The company shared the excitement with gratitude on Facebook as well as on Twitter. But that hasn't stopped hundreds and thousands of buyers from exchanging fury over the social network because of Xiaomi's shortage of supply. Some customers who failed in their attempts to book the smartphone online accused the Chinese company of creating more demand than its potential to supply.

While it has become a challenge to the phone maker to fulfill the demand, Xiaomi has started a new program to ease the pain of some users. The new program, which is limited to 500 lucky shoppers, requires shoppers to follow three simple steps to be eligible for winning a priority pass, using which the customers can purchase a Redmi 1S without hassle.

How to win Xiaomi Redmi 1S Priority Pass?

Step 1: Like Mi India page on Facebook.

Step 2: Share the new campaign status.

Step 3: Invite more and more friends to Mi India Facebook page.

The Chinese phone maker is throwing in a bonus offer to three lucky winners, where they get a Redmi 1S Priority Pass along with exclusive Mi merchandise. The offer runs till Thursday midnight September 4.

Redmi 1S is Xiaomi's budget phone with lowered specs. But it offers full value to the money spent. It sports a 4.7-inch 720p IPS display, quad-core 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB RAM, Adreno 305 graphics, 8-megapixel rear camera and 1.6 front-facing shooter, 16GB in-built storage, 2,000mAh battery, dual-SIM and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. The retail price for the handset is INR 5,999, which is less than $100.

The next sale opens next Tuesday, September 9 and registrations window is open till Monday, September 8.
