The Philadelphia Eagles and head coach Chip Kelly reportedly want to draft college quarterback Marcus Mariota. However, at pick number 20 in the upcoming 2015 NFL draft, that feat would be hard to accomplish unless the Eagles start trading their way up the draft.

To make that happen, the Eagles could choose to trade their incumbent quarterback Nick Foles. According to Eliot Shorr-Parks of NJ.com, several teams would be very interested in acquiring the Pro Bowler.

Shorr-Parks wrote: "According to a person familiar with the situation, but who requested anonymity, the St. Louis Rams have interest in Foles should the Eagles decide to trade him this offseason.

Foles' possible availability was a topic of conversation among coaches and scouts last week at the Senior Bowl, with the Tennessee Titans and Houston Texans also mentioned as teams that would have interest if Foles hit the market."

The Rams, who have the number 10 pick, are in desperate need of a quarterback after losing Sam Bradford last season due to a knee injury. The Rams, who had to rely on Austin Davis and Shaun Hill, finished last in the NFC West.

In 2013, Foles impressed many when he led the Eagles to a 10-6 season. He recorded 27 touchdowns with just two interceptions and finished the year as the league's highest-rated passer.

In 2014, he could not repeat that performance during. His touchdown rate fell by one half while his interception rate increased substantially. Foles finished with 13 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in eight games.

"I don't know, we'll sit down and thoroughly evaluate everything in the offseason," Kelly told reporters when asked if Foles was still his guy. "It's no different than any other position. We'll look at it. Let's look at the film again. Let's get all the opinions on it and make valid decisions on it."

Despite the interceptions, the Eagles still had a winning record at 6-2 before Foles sustained a shoulder injury and missed the remaining eight games of the season. Although Foles' performance dipped this past season, one NFC scout was not too concerned.

"A dropoff was expected. I wouldn't be too concerned if I was Chip (Kelly). I think he'll be fine, "said an NFC scout. "He is a statue back there. Guys like him, I don't worry, because I know where he is going to be."

Teams are not allowed to trade players to sign free agents until March 10, the start of the new league year.
