Debby Ryan Death Hoax: #RIPdebby Spreads throughout Twitter

On Jan 26, according to Twitter, actress Debby Ryan had died. The hashtag, #RIPdebby was repeatedly tweeted throughout the day as more and more of the young star's fans believed that she had passed.

However, it would appear that the 21-year-old was the victim of a Twitter hoax.

The Jesse star quickly let her fans know that she was very much alive before the news gained any more momentum. Ryan humorously tweeted, "Okay we are all doing this #RIPdebby thing you guys who killed me how did this happen."

Although it might appear that Ryan was the subject of a Twitter hoax, one fan clarified the situation, stating that the hashtag was started for a One Direction fan who recently passed away.

After Ryan addressed the hashtag, fans started tweeting their pretty interesting but far from fatal theories. Some fans stated that Ryan must have died from overdosing on coffee while others stated that she died from dying her hair too much.

The theories regarding her supposed death did not stop there. Fans also provided their interesting takes on why Ryan was still alive. One fan asked Ryan if she was a zombie whereas another tweeted that "goddesses are immortal."

In other news, Keke Palmer just named Ryan her #WomanCrushWednesday on Instagram. The actresses have been friends since childhood.

Ryan is currently busy in the studio working on her music.
