The All-Star 2015 starters for the western and eastern conferences were revealed in a pregame special that aired on TNT Thursday night.

The five top players that will start for the West include Stephen Curry, Kobe Byrant, Anthony Davis, Marc Gasol and Blake Griffin.

The starting five that will go up against them include LeBron James, Pau Gasol, Carmelo Anthony, John Wall and Kyle Lowry.

Once voting ended, the final numbers revealed that Curry had made a late surge to dethrone the King. Curry received the highest number of votes with 1,513,324. LeBron got 1,470,483 votes.

"This means a lot; it's something that I don't take for granted," Curry said in a statement. "To have support of fans not only in the Bay Area but across the nation and across the world, supporting not only myself but our team, it means a lot. I want to represent the Warriors the best way I know how, every single game, and will do that proudly in New York thanks to the fans and their votes. Something that's definitely a dream come true, and to be two times in a row, I'm proud of that."

Curry is the first Warriors to be an All-Star starter for two consecutive years since Chris Mullin did it in 1991-92.

This All-Star lineup had other notable statistics as well. This is the first time that the All-Star Game will feature brothers in the starting lineup. This is also the first time since 2000 that the East will start two first-time guards with Wall and Lowry, who surpassed Dwanye Wade late in the voting game.

"Knowing that I will be facing my brother Pau for the opening tip, it will be a true accomplishment for our family and a memory I will cherish for the rest of my career," Marc Gasol said in a statement through the Grizzlies. "It holds special meaning to be voted in by the fans, and I look forward to representing my teammates, the organization, the city of Memphis and entire Mid-South community and Grizzlies fans across the world."
The head coaches will be Golden State Warriors' Steve Kerr for the West and Atlanta Hawks' Mike Budenholzer for the East.

The All-Star reserves will not be announced for another week.

The All-Star Game will take place February 15 at Madison Square Garden in New York.
