"The Originals" Season 4 is returning and will bring back the Mikaelsons to New Orleans. The first episode of the series is titled "Gather up the Killers."

According to a report, the first episode of "The Originals" Season 4 will start right after the events of the previous season. It has already been five years since Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) defeated Klaus (Joseph Morgan).

"The Originals" Season 4 makes Marcel the king of the city. He also welcomes the vampires that may be threats to the Mikaelsons. It is hinted that these vampires will also pose threats to Marcel's rule. He will find support from an unlikely source.

In the meantime, it is hinted that Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) will find the cure to save Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and the rest of the family. She also will face a final task that will let her make a big decision in her life in "The Originals" Season 4.

It can be recalled that Marcel turned into a hybrid in the previous season of "The Originals." He took a magic serum that made him more powerful than Klaus. Marcel is also the most immortal character in the series and will move on with Season 4 with his leadership.

The previous season concluded with Hayley leaving New Orleans. She brought with her her daughter Hope (Summer Fontana). Klaus, on the other hand, sacrificed his life for his family; "The Originals" Season 4 will then have a five-year time jump. This would mean that Hope is already grown-up.

Meanwhile, it is indicated that Hope will be involved with a lot of evil in "The Originals" Season 4. It has been hinted that Hope will be the ultimate Mikaleson and a powerful one. She has with her the traits of her parents. Hope is the daughter of Klaus and Hayley.

"The Originals" Season 4 airs on March 17.
