Iggy Pop Teams Up With Metallica In Mexico City For T.V. Eye; Band Gears Up For WorldWired Tour

Iggy Pop was in the concert tour of Metallica in Mexico City. They both made a performance for "T.V. Eye" which is a song from the album of the Stooges in the 1970's.

According to a report, James Hetfield, the front man for the band Metallica, introduced Iggy Pop in the concert with much respect. Hetfield also expressed his gratitude that the famous Iggy Pop has been with them in their concert tour in Mexico City.

A report indicated that the concert last was the third night for Metallica in Foro Sol. They made the third night extra special by bringing in Iggy Pop on stage to perform with the band. Iggy Pop is a rock icon of the Stooges in the 70's.

Metallica has been promoting their new album and was lately performing in Mexico City. They currently are on a break and will then kick off on March 25 at the Lollapalooza in Brazil. Right after Brazil, the band will then be kicking off their WorldWired tour in North America.

Iggy Pop joined the stage with Metallica's Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo. It has been reported that the performance has been energetic coming from Metallica and Iggy Pop. Iggy Pop is the iconic vocalist of the band The Stooges that has reunited in 2003. The icon is known for his stage performances and his music has encompassed different types. He has taken a break from the limelight yet his music still remains.

Metallica on the other hand is a heavy rock metal band that was formed in 1981. The bands most influential album has been the Master of Puppets that was released in 1986. They are currently ranked as the most successful bands of all times. Metallica is currently promoting their latest album Hardwired and is on tour.
