The Latest hero of Overwatch, Orisa, will arrive at the end of this month to the consoles according to the confirmation of the game director Jeff Kaplan. Now the character is exclusive for Windows gamers, and the console gamers are experiencing a longer wait than expected. The 24th Overwatch hero is reportedly going through a lot of fixes and advances before it gets introduced into consoles.

"We have got excellent feedback about the character and fixing some of the issues we encountered with it. I understand that it is a bit longer than the usual PTR periods, but this would give a better gaming experience for the console gamers," Kaplan wrote in a forum. "We understand your anxiety, and you can get Orisa in your ranks and expect it by the end of this month, though an early release is not assumed."

Kaplan was responding to a thread started by the Overwatch gamers to know the release date of the character for the consoles. The players were anxious and unhappy by the fact that previous characters such as Sombra and Ana reached the consoles within a week after the introduction on PCs. It is reported that the developer is also trying to optimize the battling skills of the new hero by adding additional weapons and features.

Interestingly, Orisa has gone through a number of changes, though it was released just a week back. Even an update released recently did a reduction in the magazine size of the character's weapon and increased the cost for the Ultimate. It should be noted that Orisa is a Tank-class hero, and she buffs her teammates and defends.

The developer best describes the character's gameplay as "designed around protection." She has weapons such as Fusion Driver - a cannon that ensures constant damage and works automatically, and Halt - option to launch a charge to detonate slow enemies and also helping to pull them to explosions.
