GTA V is very keen on adding new cities, maps, and landmarks into the game often. It makes expansion to the existing game to retain the popularity received by the installment of the ride action game series. It is now reported that the game is adding more maps to the game and it includes Vice City map along with Grand Theft Auto III Liberty City map in the new mod.

In the early weeks of 2017, the developer Rockstar Games announced a new mod that adds Grand Theft Auto IV Liberty City map to the game. Now, it seems that the developer is planning to expand the mod with additional maps including Vice City map as the Crotainment Games uploaded a new trailer depicting the same. To use Liberty City mod, the gamers should have GTA IV copy, as the developer of the mod doesn't have the rights to distribute due to the additional space required. Instead, it is planned to make an automatic conversion from GTA IV Liberty City to GTA V.

With new modes, festival events, bonus options, GTA V is still highly popular among fans and it is recently reported that the game one of the most sold video games in the history. Though it is launched in 2013, it has made total sales of 75M copies as of earlier this month. Interestingly, NPD Group declared that GTA V is the sixth highest-selling video game across all the formats of the game in 2016 by referring the sales data.

The group referred multiple factors for the unprecedented but consistent sales of GTA V over the years. It says that since it is part of one the most-sold franchisees, the current installment receives excellent sales. It has highly positive reviews with multiple engaging factors, side missions, anarchic humor, sub-quests etc. makes the game really enjoyable. Also, the option for online multiplayer mode gamers to compete for each other for kudos and cash make the game more popular.
