Emma Watson plays the role of Belle in the remake for "Beauty and the Beast." Watson shares that being involved in the film is romantic and full of emotions.

According to a report, 26-year-old Watson portrays Belle's role in "Beauty and the Beast." The film is a remake from the original in 1991. The actress shared that the film is unapologetically romantic and she enjoyed being part of it. Watson further noted that being Belle in "Beauty and the Beast" had been interesting especially in knowing Belle's backstory. For Watson, Belle is a different kind of princess from all the other Disney princesses.

A report indicated that Watson had been offered the role of Cinderella in the film but she turned it down. Watson shared that she was not aware that Beauty and the Beast will soon be made. She noted that when she was offered the role of Belle, she did not turn it down and took on the role. She believed that her character is closer to Belle than Cinderella.

"Beauty and the Beast" soon will hit theaters and the film is directed by Bill Condon. The Beast is played by Dan Stevens. Luke Evans is Gaston and LeFou is portrayed by Josh Gad. Additional stars are Ian Mckellen as Cogsworth while Emma Thompson is Mrs. Potts.

Meanwhile, Emma Watson also shared that Belle of "Beauty and the Beast" has more similarities with the character to Hermione Granger in Harry Potter. It is reported that Watson is the one fit for Belle's role. Watson has done several roles and Belle of "Beauty and the Beast" is just one of those roles. Emma Watson is set to bring in the life of Belle in this new film. This is a new film from Disney and was taken from the original. The film is set to air on March 16.
