"Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" is set to air this year. This latest installment for the film seems to be the last one. It has been a film taken from the famous video game of the same name.

The film follows Alice (Mila Jovovich) through her fight with the Umbrella Corporation. When Alice was first introduced into "Resident Evil," she had amnesia. As the story progressed, she gradually learns that she has been part of the Umbrella Corporation.

The Umbrella Corporation is a bioengineering pharmaceutical company that has a T-virus which infects humans and animals and turns them into zombies. This then leads Alice to run after the said company before a zombie apocalypse will happen.

According to a report, "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" happens after the events in 'Resident Evil: Retribution.' In the final franchise of the film, Alice needs to go back to Racoon City in order to run after the Umbrella Corporation.

Alice is to have allies and will work together with old friends in "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter." The team that works with Alice is going to fight with monsters and zombies. This film is set to be filled with action from the characters and Alice will be back with the same action-packed moves that she always had.

Meanwhile, Sony Pictures has released a new clip for "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter." The clip follows Alice with a group of survivors leading their way into The Hive. The Hive is the underground Umbrella Corporation that is located in Racoon City.

This corporation has been the source of the zombie outbreak that is happening in the city. Alice will do her best together with her allies to stop this monster from spreading more of the T-virus. This time, the hope that Alice will finally end the virus is highly expected.

"Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" is the sixth franchise of the film. It airs on January 27, 2017.
