Iphone 7 and 7 plus users, especially those who longed for a jailbreak for iOS 10.2, are in for a bit of an unpleasant news. Jailbreak for iOS 10.2 may not be compatible with the latest apple phones right now. It may be good for those iPhone users who have not grabbed the opportunity to enjoy Yalu 10.1, but the latest jailbreak won't be useful to iPhones 7 and 7 plus. It was reported that the two devices only supported iOS 10 and 10.1.

Along with this, there was a recommendation for iOS 10.2 users to get away from future or further updates with their phones. There are talks of Apple's sooner release of new iOS updates. However, it warns those who are in 10.2 to not make further updates with the iPhones.

At Yibada, the birth of iOS 10.1.1 was confirmed by Lucas Todesco. However, the said jailbreak is not that perfect due to being semi-tethered only. The article from the same site had furthered that even Stefan Esser had teased about iOS 10.2.

One of the hassles that can be experienced with using jailbreak for iOS 10.1.1 is the restarting of the iPhone unit all over again once the jailbreak will be installed in order to re-enable the process. News about Esser's revelation about a team making up actions to jailbreak iOS 10.2 started to excite and fuel the iPhone jailbreakers' hopes.

Those who have iOS 10.1.1 don't have to worry because there are still a variety of apps to enjoy. Some of those are like Preference Loader, Substrate Safe Mode, and many others. Because of this, jailbreakers won't have any favorable options but to stay contented with the recent or present one.

With Esser's earlier claim about a jailbreak of 10.2, even some tech critics are convinced that the release will still be a long time coming because of the reported enhanced security patches.
