'Outlander' Season 3 Spoilers, News & Update: Caitriona Balfe Teases About The Scene At The Print Shop; Cast Cuts Break Short To Start Filming
"Outlander" Season 3 is set to return and is currently in production. In fact, the cast and crew hastened their holidays in order to get filming done. Caitriona Balfe, who plays the role of Claire, also teased about the print shop scene for the upcoming season.
According to a report, the production team of "Outlander" Season 3 cut short their break in order to get back to the series. Diana Gabaldon, the author of the Outlander series novel, shares in a report that production is supposed to have a break of six weeks. This time, the team is only on break for two weeks.
Gabaldon also added that the production is right on schedule. The team for "Outlander" Season 3 already finished filming six and a half episodes out of the 13 episodes. It is indicated that the episodes already done are right on time.
Balfe shares in a report that "Outlander" Season 3 is set to have Jaime (Sam Heughan) and Claire reunited. The reunion is 20 years after the two separated since the Battle of Culloden. The upcoming season will show two separate times. Jaime is in the past trying to heal from the battle, while Claire is back in her present life with husband Frank (Tobias Menzies).
Outlander Season 3 also introduces Briana (Sophie Skelton). Briana is Claire and Jaime's daughter, however, she gives birth to her in the present and Frank together with Claire and the new baby start a new life in Boston.
Meanwhile, Balfe also teases that "Outlander" Season 3 is going to show also the scene at the print shop where Jaime and Claire are set to reunite. She shares that the scene has been beautifully written and there is so much emotion in it.
The scene at the print shop has already been shot for "Outlander" Season 3. Jaime and Claire will see each other for the first time in 20 years. This is also hinted to be the time when Jaime will meet Briana for the first time. "Outlander" Season 3 will air sometime this year.
