"Supernatural" has just been renewed for Season 13. This means that Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) Winchester will continue their quest in the series.

According to a report the series has just been planned to last for a few seasons. However, "Supernatural" has gone a long way and it is now going to be in its 13th season. In fact, Ackles shares in a report that it has always been the fans that have kept them going in the series.

There may be more stories to tell in the future. "Supernatural" Season 13 continues the journey of the Winchester brothers being hunters. The series will be on its 9th episode for Season 12 and Sam and Dean are still in jail at this time.

Sam and Dean have been imprisoned right after Lucifer (David Crisum) accused them of being assassins. Supernatural Season 12 episode 9 is going to have a time jump of six weeks once it airs. Mary Winchester (Samantha Smith) and Castiel (Misha Collins) have no idea on how to free Sam and Dean.

This is the first time that Sam and Dean are to deal with humans instead of demons. They have been put in a situation where it may be hard for them to handle. It seems that episode 9 is going to bring in more challenges to the brothers as they are still held captive by the presidential guards.

Meanwhile, Ackels and his wife just had their twins. They have been on a holiday and Ackles shared photos of the family with the twins. Zeppelin Bram and Arrow Rhodes are the new addition to the Ackles family. "Supernatural" Season 12 will have more twists of this time and the actors are already waiting for the 13th season soon. Episode 9 of Season 12 is set to return on January 26, 2017.
