The mishap on Sept. 1, 2016, was a major setback in the history of space technology and "SpaceX" is slowly coming back to scene. It is reported that the resuming of commercial services are expected by early 2017. Though it was scheduled to start by late 2016, a postponement in the schedule can be considered as a good sign of gesture by Elon Musk to ensure error-free operations.

It can be concluded that Elon Musk is giving his SpaceX team enough time to find and correct the issues with the launch vehicle. He should know that Space technology, including spacecraft, are of highly complex in nature and it can't be completed or achieved in the business decision mode. Failures are very imminent in each operation and it can be fatal as in the case of Columbia or Challenger Space shuttle disasters which took the lives of astronauts.

Considering the fact that SpaceX is just 14 years old, it has achieved more than what a space company could have achieved within this time. Just after the September explosion of SpaceX's Falcon 9, the immediate criticism Elon Musk faced is that he is rushing the missions and that could be the reason for the disaster. Now, he knows that he can't afford such a disaster once again and if that happens he would really be questioned on the reliability of SpaceX rockets.

It was previously reported that SpaceX has almost 70 satellites pending for launch in orbit per the previous commitments. Elon Musk knows that it is time to deliver but at the same time the commitment to give error free service to SpaceX customers is more important. Musk is on the race of a dream of landing the man on Mars by 2030 and he knows how these developments and small steps would finally lead to the great success.

It is interesting to see how Elon Musk is going to handle the increased pressure from the customers to meet the deadline and quality service. But, he is a man who is hungry for success and he can bring back the success of SpaceX by taking careful steps. He dreams big and pursuits to achieve that and let that happen in his space ventures as well.
