The plot of this spin-off focuses on the new storyline being revealed. There is no word yet if the other stories from 'The Good Wife' are to be integrated in the upcoming show.

The spin-off series "The Good Fight" starts a year after the final events of the original series ended. The new series tells of a financial scam which challenges the characters in the new series. They start out on their own in their new journey.

Sarah Steele who portrays the role of Marissa Gold comes back as a regular in the spin-off series. Zach Grenier, Jerry Adler and Gary Cole are set to return as guest stars in the upcoming new series.

The first trailer of "The Good Fight" indicates that it is going to be more brutal for the characters as each of their stories unfold. It is going to be a wild ride as Diane and Maia work together in moving on from the events that happened previously.

They are to do their best in "The Good Fight" in order to keep the firm up and running strong. The spin-off series premieres on February 19, 2017.
