Netflix's latest TV series 'The OA' is a quite strange string. Audience perceives it as a nonsensical and the most ludicrous show of the year. It is also being compared to 'Stranger Things.'

The OA, an American mystery drama web TV series with science fiction and supernatural elements set its debut on Netflix. The TV series was created and produced by the 33-year old American actress, film producer and screenwriter Brit Marling and the American screenwriter and film director Zal Batmanglij. The TV series stars Brit Marling. Alongside Marling are the stars Emory Cohen, Scott Wilson, Phyllis Smith, Patrick Gibson, Alice Krige, Brendan Meyer and more.

According to Popsugar, Netflix announced that a new original series will be dropping in a matter of days. The season one has eight episodes and now ready for viewing purposes. However, don't fasten your seatbelt too much, Netflix has not renewed the series for the second season. And for the record, it took the team a little while to confirm the second season of 'Stranger Things' as well.

'It is exciting to leave that gap between one season and another to see how people feel about it, what they're thinking.' Marling said when asked about the plans for the second season. 'If we get to be so lucky as to get to another round, I would be excited.' Meanwhile, Batmanglij said that 'We designed it that way. Whether it happens or not, I think it's up to you guys. All of you in the world. If people connect to it. I would like to see this story continue...' and left the audience with the words 'That is designed for only the closest and creepiest viewer to find.'

In relation to the Chicago Tribune, the final episode makes an overreaching attempt to a great finish and hopes for another season.  Share your thoughts below!
