The “Passengers” is about a spaceship, Starship Avalon in its 120-years voyage to a distant colony known as the “Homestead Colony” and transporting 5,259 people has a malfunction in two of its sleep chambers. As a result, two hibernation pods were open prematurely and two people that awoke Jim Preston (Chris Pratt) and Aurora Dunn (Jennifer Lawrence) are stranded on the starship still 90 years from their destination.

After Jim woke up, he was hoping he could get a new chance to start over and become a useful member of the society by building things, but after the asteroid breached the ship, even though he is an engineer, he couldn’t put it back into stasis. But, Jim couldn’t make it to the planet and now he is stuck in a silent ship with an android friend. Jim got lonely very soon and that is when he found Aurora napping in her pod. He got confused what should he do, should he wake her up or not, shortly Jim became obsessed with her and started spending his time with her. According to CNet, Jim decided to wake Aurora when he hacked her pod. The chemistry between them was inevitable and all of this looked like a Stockholm Syndrome, except Aurora had no idea she was a hostage actually. They will have their ups and downs but will manage to surpass them when they will have to save 5.000 people who are taking pod naps.

The Guardian reports that people on Spaceship Avalon were supposed to wake up a few months before they land on their new colony world Homestead II. He cyber-stalked Aurora in his underwear which fans found it creepy, and whatever his plans are, they think he is a perv who stole a woman’s life to be his playmate.

Two characters falling in love is easy acting, but when the romance comes into play, that is where it gets hard Pratt said. As USA Today reported, Lawrence said sexy scenes are the most unsexy things in the world.
