"Game Of Thrones" Season 7 will surprise fans with new alliances, new rivals, and even more twists. Being the penultimate season before it comes to an end, everything and everyone will finally come together before the curtains close in Season 8. Apparently, there will be an unexpected shift of characters in the series as it prepares for the finale.

New Alliance. Lena Headey (Cersei) and Hafthor Bjornsson (The Mountain) were spotted at Dubrovnik, Croatia which was the inspiration of the "Game Of Thrones" King's Landing. The report states that it has been rarely used in the past seasons but the Battle of the Blackwater was filmed there. With Cersei and The Mountain at Dubrovnik, could there be a new alliance that will be formed in King's Landing?

New Rivals. In an interview with Vulture, Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) teased some details about her role on the upcoming "Game Of Thrones" Season 7. After getting a taste of power, Sansa Stark wants recognition for saving Jon Snow and the North. She feels as if she isn't getting the respect that she deserves which could potentially make her dark in the next season. Sophie Turner said that Sansa is now "playing the game" and will be "ruthless" in getting what she wants. What could possibly happen when someone gets in the way, say, Jon Snow for example?

Near End. As "Game Of Thrones" nears its end, Sophie Turner reveals that the mood in the set has been emotional and anxious. With the TV show now coming to an end, they are wondering how they will end the series. While she did not reveal details of the last season, she said that they are making the most out it and that they are not taking anything for granted.

While official date has yet to be released, sources say "Game Of Thrones" Season 7 might debut in Summer of 2017.
